I like how the trees frame this picture.

Look at this pool. I wonder if they have fires very often? You can see the desert in the background.

It was an Oasis in the desert. I couldn't get over what they did. There was running water you could hear. It made we want to stay there.

This from a Hotel in Death Valley. The next few pictures are all of the Hotel. If you look at the background of some of the pictures you can se the desert.

I look at the picture and just wonder at the colors.

The landscape is quite stark. It was comfortable, but it was winter.

This is the first picture from Death Valley. It took around 3 hours to drive there. We went with only five of us. The 2 sisters, the brother inlaws and the neice.

Here is a picture of Hoover Dam in the dark. When we came back from the Grand Caynon we stopped the dam again. It is a sight to see in the dark. That is like you can see the glow of Las Vegas for way to long a distance.

This is a picture fom next to were the Sky walk is going to be. Right now there are no railings so you don't want to get to close to the edge. But the sky walk will really be nice when it is done.

This is the wagon we rode in. There was a small western town they built to go with this.

This is a picture of the Grand Canyon West Rim. I took this picture while I was on the wagon ride. The West Rim is owned by Hualapia Indians. They have a very good presentation. We went to the South Rim 2 years ago but it is a 6 hour drive each way, this was only 2 and half hours.
